Psychology is not exempt from the systemic racism that exists in all areas of our lives. Our lab takes strides to actively be inclusive of all. This includes:
- Actively striving to include other perspectives into our research designs and practices
- Evaluating and changing our structures to be more inclusive of those who are systemically marginalized within academia and outside
- Recruiting a variety of students and staff members to ensure that our research is as intersectional as possible
- Expand participant recruitment to reflect the racial, ethnic and economic diversity of the British Columbia Lower Mainland
